The band

Calm Doon is a professional ceilidh band based in central Scotland, playing at weddings and events throughout the country. We deliver energetic performances, modern and traditional ceilidhs and heart-pounding sound. We'll play at all types of events, tailoring our services to suit all requirements and budgets.

We've been performing ceilidhs together at weddings and events in Scotland and beyond for over 6 years. We're all experienced musicians from a variety of musical backgrounds with one thing in common – a love of ceilidh.

From the authentic ceilidh experience to a modern, dynamic take on the traditional ceilidh, we'll make your big day that bit extra special. Just remember to bring your dancing shoes.

We play corporate and international events, including charity gigs, birthday parties, graduation balls and proms. We'll tailor our service to your requirements – you won't be disappointed.
